Mohammad Javad Dehghani who is the Head of the Islamic World Science Citation Database (ISC) has said: “A comprehensive and analytical overview of the Persian language from 1997 to the end of 2017 in Scopus shows that the publication of scientific documents in Persian over the past two decades has grown more than fortyfold and the global ranking of the Persian language has moved up from the thirtieth to the fifteenth rank with 15 upgrades.”
