PLO Reports Israel to Criminal Court for

The Palestinians have reported Israeli regime to the International Criminal Court in the Hague for 'war crimes' over the demolition of the Bedouin village of Khan al Ahmar, in the West Bank, including the so-called 'tire school', the secretary general of the PLO, Saeb Erekat, told a press conference in Ramallah.

Erekat was quoted by the Wafa news agency as saying that Israel must be held accountible for its plans for the village whose demolition was decided, after a long judicial battle, by the Israeli supreme Court as it had been built illegally.
The school, built by an Italian NGO, is inside Khan al Ahmar, which is part of the C Area, that according to the Oslo Accords is under Israeli military and administrative jurisdiction.
On Monday, the US announced the closure of the PLO's office in Washington including among the reasons the Palestinian judicial cases against Israel at the ICC. ''We will continue going to the court regardless of the blackmailing and bullying of the US'', said Erekat.
