Jebrael Nokandeh said, 'he items to be displayed in ‘Archeology and Art in the Netherlands – Narrated by Drents Museum’ in National Museum of Iran arrived at Imam Khomeini international airport on Saturday night.'
'The opening ceremony of the 3-month-long exhibition will be held on October 2 with the participation of officials from Iran and the Netherlands,' he added.
‘The collection consists of 331 clay and metal pots, stone tools, jewelries, a human mummy, paintings, and potteries of 19th-20th centuries,’ Nokandeh said.
The 160-year-old Drents Museum is located in the city of Assen in northeastern Netherlands.
Currently, an exhibition of Iranian historical artifacts called ‘Iran – Cardle of Civization’ is on display in Drents Museum.
British Museum will host an exhibition in Tehran in late spring, 2019.
National Museum of Iran hosted several collections of Louvre Museum and some other Armenian and South Korean museums last year.
