Examples of Imam Ali’s (A.S) Moral Virtues (part 3)

The Battle of Siffin Siffin was a region by the river Euphrates. When the army of Ali reached it, he was told to block the army of Mu`awiyah from having access to the river, but Ali did not accept the idea.

Al-i-Imran

This Sura takes its name from v. 33. Al-i-Imran like the names of many other suras is merely a name to distinguish it from other suras and does not imply that the family of Imran has been discussed in it.

Al-Anfal (Booty)

The Surah takes its name AL-ANFAL (The Bounties) from the first verse.
