Imam Ali (as),First youth to accept Islam
Ali was born some thirty years after the birth of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). He belonged to the most respectable family of Quraish, the Banu Hashim. His father "Abu Talib" was the real uncle of the Holy Prophet who brought him up after the death of the Holy Prophet’s grandfather.
AL-LAHAB
The Surah takes its name from the word Lahab in the first verse.
Al-QADR (Power)
The Surah has been so designated after the word al-qadr in the very first verse.
Al-SHAMS (The Sun)
The Surah has been so designated after the word ash-shams with which it opens.
'ABASA (He Frowned)
The Surah is so designated after the word`abasa with which it opens.
AL-HAAQQAH
The Surah takes its name from the wordal-Haaqqah with which it opens.
AL-QIYAMAH (Resurrection)
Except for the theme of monotheism, the Qur'an speaks more of the coming Qiyamah - also known as the Resurrection, the Day of Judgment, Day of Gathering, and the Great Announcement - than of any other topic.
Al-Fath (Victory)
It is derived from the words Inna fatah-na laka fat-han mubina of the very first verse. This is not only a name of the Surah but also its title in view of the subject matter, for it deals with the great victory that Allah granted to the Holy Prophet and the Muslims in the form of the Truce of Hudaibiya.
Dukhan (Smoke)
The Surah takes its name from the word Dukhan which occurs in verse 10.
Saffat (Drawn Up in Ranks)
The name is derived from the word was saffat with which the Surah begins.
