Controversial Taksim Square Mosque to Be Launched by Year End

Work is nearing completion on the large and controversial mosque in Istanbul's Taksim Square, a symbol of the city and the site of numerous protests against Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, similar to those five years ago in Gezi Park.
