World people attach great importance to the preservation of their history and culture. International organizations like UNICEF have organized special programs like the Memory of the World in order to make sure that the world’s invaluable documentary heritage is fully preserved and made accessible to all. Iran’s IRIB has also played its own share of this global campaign.
IRIB World Service - Iran
The IRIB World Service is the official international broadcasting radio and TV network of Iran. It was launched with the aim of familiarizing different world nations with Iran’s history and culture as well as its different regions and historical sites. Elaborating on Iran’s Islamic Revolution and the ideals of the Islamic Republic system have always been high on its agenda. The programs include news and talk shows, political and religious commentaries, and different series and features on special occasions.
