Qaf

The Surah derives its name from the initial letter Qaf, thereby implying that it is the Surah which opens with the alphabetic letter Qaf.

Sad

The Surah takes its name from the alphabetic letter Sad with which it begins.

Yunus (Jonah)

The Surah takes its name from V. 98 in which there is a reference to Prophet Yunus (Jonah). The name as usual is symbolical and does not indicate that the Surah deals with the story of Prophet Jonah.

Ma'ida (The Table)

This Sarah takes its' name from verse 112 in which the word Mai'dah occurs. Like the names of many other surahs this name has no special relation to the subject of the Surah but has been used merely as a symbol to distinguish it from other surahs.

Name: It takes its name from v. 16.

The sudden nature of the advent of al-Qa'im (AS)

The Shea and the Sunni traditionalists have narrated that the advent of Imam al-Mahdi (AS) will be rectified by Allah within just one night. In other words, its time is very unpredictable and depends on Allah's sudden choice of action and his advent will take place miraculously.
