Bismillah
Is Bismillah a Part of (Every) Chapter?
Amongst the Shia scholars there exists no difference of opinion in the fact that Bismillah is part of Suratul Hamd and every chapter of the Noble Quran (except Suratul Taubah as shall be mentioned later)(1). Basically, the presence of Bismillah in the beginning of all the chapters in the text of the Quran is itself proof of this issue since we do know that nothing has been added to the text of the Qur`an and the mention of Bismillah, at the start of all chapters, has been prevalent since the time of the Noble Prophet (s.a.w) till today.

Surah al-Fatihah: Interpretation of Bismillahi’r-rahmani’r-rahim (part 1)
Bismillahi’r-rahmani’r-rahim {In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful}
There is no prayer without the Opening of the Book (fatihah al-kitab)
After the recital of Takbirah al-Ihram, Surah al-Fatihah is to be recited and if this surah is not recited in the prayer, the prayer is invalid. “There is no prayer without the Opening of the Book {fatihah al-kitab}.”(1)
Repentance (Tawba)
This Surah is known by two names Al-Tawba and Al-Bara'a. It is called Al-Tawba because it enunciates the nature of tawba (repentance) and mentions the conditions of its acceptance (vv. 102. 118). The second name Bara'a (Release) is taken from the first word of the Surah.
Prayer's Obligatory Parts
The prayer has some obligatory parts. We explain about some of them bellow.
SATURDAY DU'A (prayer)
"Bismillah," which is the creed of those who seek protection and the motto of those who want refuge.
