AL –NABA

The Surah derived its name from the wordan-Naba in the second verse. This is not only a name but also a title of its subject matter, forNaba implies the news of Resurrection and Hereafter and the whole Surah is devoted to the same theme.

Shu'ara (Poets)

The Surah takes its name from verse 224 in which the word Ash-Shu'ara occurs.

The Quranic Emphasis

The Qur'an is a guide for every person, his teacher and mentor. Understanding it is therefore vital; otherwise it will remain no more than a sacrament.
