hypocrites

Prophet Muhammad’s Hadith (1)

Hypocrites are characterized by three features: telling lies, reneging on promises, breaching of trust.

Al – Munafiqun (Hypocrites)HHHh

The Sura takes its name from the sentenceIdha jaa kal-munafiquna of verse 1. This is the name of the Sura as well as the title of its subject matter, for in it a review has been made of the conduct and attitude of the hypocrites themselves.

Al-Saff (Battle Array)

The Surah derives its name from the sentenceyuqatiluna fi sabil-i- hlsaff-an of verse 4; thereby implying that it is a Surah in which the wordsaff occurred.

Al-Ahzab (The coalition)

The Surah derives its name Al-Ahzab from verse 20.
