A Commentary on the Hamd Surah (part 8)
Do know that “praising” is for a “favor”. From the noble verse, it is deduced that praising and extolment are confirmed for the state of the Greatest Name as the all-embracing Name, which has the state of being the Lord of the worlds, “the Beneficent,” “the Merciful” and “the Master of the Day of Judgment.” So, these noble Names, i.e. “Rabb,” “Rahman” and “Malik” should have an effective role in the praising.
The Hell waits the Rebellious
On the Resurrection Day, all the people’s deeds shall be investigated and everyone will receive the consequence of his, or her, acts; and nobody shall face any injustice.
Ha-Mim (Worship-Bowing Down on one's knees)
The name of this Surah is composed of two words, Ha-Mim and As-Sajdah, which implies that it is a Surah which begins with Ha-Mim and in which a verse requiring the performance of sajdah (prostration) has occurred.
