An Animal Slaughtered by a Sunni An animal slaughtered by a Sunni is ḥalāl although according to some Sunni jurists, it is not necessary to slaughter an animal facing Qiblah. Not slaughtering it facing Qiblah due to misinformation does not harm its being ḥalāl.
