The Supplication for Fri. narrated from Imam Sajjad (a.s)
Month of Rajab
Rajab (Arabic: رَجَب) or Rajab al-Murajjab (Arabic: رَجَب المُرَجَّب) is the seventh month of the lunar year. Along with Dhu l-Qa'da, Dhu l-Hijja and Muharram, it counts as one of the haram months. According to hadiths, it is recommended to perform 'umra, fast, and worship God in this month.
Birth of Imam Ali (A) 13th Rajab
It was Friday 13th of Rajab 30 Amulfeel. Hazrat Fatima binte Asad, the wife of Hazrat Abu Talib entered the precincts of the Kaaba and prayed to Allah saying 'O my protector ease my pain.' All of a sudden the wall of the Kaaba opened up and she, as if by some unseen force went inside the Kaaba and the wall closed.
Leaving of sin is the highest act in the month of Rajab
The teacher of religious seminary declares leaving of sin is the highest act in the month of Rajab and said that this month is the month of worship and the first step in the form of my intercession and friendship.
Ziyarah of Imam Ali Naqi Al-Hadi (pbuh)
Recitation of this ziyarah of holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh &hp)’s tenth infallible descendant Hazret Imam Ali Naqi bin Muhammad Al-Hadi (pbuh), who was born on 5th Rajab, is much rewarding. His holy shrine is housed in the holy city of Samra, Iraq.
Imam Ali's Ziyarat
After entering into the courtyard say: Praise be to Allah who honoured me with insight in the divine matters concerning Him and His Messenger, and prescribed for me obedience unto Him as a duty, an act of mercy from Him to me, a recurring bounty from Him for me, and choose me to have faith in Him. Praise be to Allah who brought me to the sacred resting place of His Messenger's brother
People’s Oath Of Allegiance to Ali (AS.)
After his speech, the Messenger of Allah(S.A.W.) asked everybody to give the oath of allegiance to Ali(A.S.) and congratulate him. Among those who did so was 'Umar b. al-Khattab, who said: "Well done Ibn Abi Talib! Today you became the Leader (mawla) of all believing men and women."
Al-'ADIYAT (The Chargers)
The Surah has been so entitled after the wordal 'adiyat with which it opens.
ALAM-NASHRAH (Consolation)
The Surah is so designated after the first sentence.
