The Surah is so designated after the word al-bayyinah occurring at the end of the first verse.

AT-TIN (The Figtree)

The Surah has been so named after the very First wordat-tin.

Al-'ALAQ (The Clot)

The Surah is so entitled after the word `alaq in the second verse.

Al-DUHA (Morning Bright)

The Surah takes its name Al-ḌUHA from the very first word.

AL-LAIL (Night)

The Surah takes its name from the wordwal-lail with which it opens.

AL-BALAD ([This] Countryside)

The Surah has been so named after the wordal balad in the first verse.
