China Muslims Offer Prayers on Eid al-Adha

Chinese Muslims, similar to other Muslims across the world, celebrated Eid al-Adha on Wednesday by offering prayers in different cities across the country.

Several explosions were heard in the diplomatic district of the Afghan capital Kabul on Tuesday, but there was no immediate information on casualties, witnesses and a security official said.

Eid-ul-Fitr Purpose

Eid Al-Fitr is the most important festival in the Islamic calendar (Muslim Holiday). The day does not mark any historical event or episode; but its existence provides the Muslim for an occasion to offer thanks to Allah for having given him the strength and the will to observe fast during the holy month of Ramadan.
