Mirza ghasemi, Gilan province
The smell of mirza ghasemi alone will entrance you. This vegetarian dish is prepared with loads of garlic mixed with mashed grilled eggplant, tomatoes, and salt, pepper, and turmeric. Eggs are usually beaten into the mixture, but they can easily be left out to make it vegan. Though usually served as an appetizer, it’s so delicious you’ll probably fill up on it with bread before the main course!

Skyrunning Race - Iran
For the first time in Iran, a contest for this extreme sport called skyrunning has been held in Varangehrood, a beautiful area on the slopes of Azad Mountain. It’s only a 3-hour drive north from Tehran. Almost 300 male and female athletes from all around the country have participated in 30-kilometer race which required them to ascend about 1,500 meters. It was a day out in nature with a lot of super energetic folks and lots of positive energy in the atmosphere.

Shahid Motahhari School - Iran
Shahid Motahhari School is one of the historical monuments in the capital city of Tehran. It is located in Baharestan Square. The structure was built upon the order of Mirza Hasankhan Sepahsalar, the Chancellor of Nasereddin Shah during the Qajar era. In the past, it was names Sepahsalar or Naseri School, but later on it was named after Ayatullah Motahhari, an Iranian scholar, cleric and politician. Motahhari School was built based on the Persian architectural style. Plasterworks and tile works impart a pleasing sight to the complex.
