Fashion World Make a More Inclusive Space for Muslim Women
Designers and international brands in last few years have taken notice to the significance of Muslims in the fashion industry by creating Muslim clothing line featuring hijabs that allow Muslim women to express themselves while still adhering to their religious beliefs.
Is Working as Fashion Models Allowed for Women in Islam?
One way to answer this question is to consider it by itself and regardless of any side issues. One may thus say that Muslim women –together with the rest of the world– need clothes! women in Islam, too, deserve to wear beautiful and stylish outfits! Muslim women, too, can have a job! And if all that is acceptable, there could be no fault found with designing such clothes or presenting them as a model.

An Islamic society is a society which tries to achieve the goals and ideals that Islam has delineated for humanity: a society in which there is justice, freedom, a society in which people play a role in running their country and determining their destiny, a society that enjoys national dignity and welfare, a society whose members do not suffer from poverty and hunger, a society with comprehensive advances in scientific, economic and political areas, a society that makes constant progress.
Enemies are desperately making every effort to promote ideas against hijab in Iran
If someone does something wrong, in private, this is between them and God, but the Islamic government–like the government of the Commander of the Faithful–is obliged to stand up against what is committed in front of the people's eyes and in the social environment.
Gender equality or gender justice? What is the viewpoint of Islam?
Those who pretend that 'gender justice' means the participation of women in the all areas that men participate in, are betraying women's trust, respectability, and identity. Women are highly respectable; no one has implied that women should not participate in various social arenas, or that they should not undertake responsibilities, or that they should not become scientists: no one is against this.
Oppression of women can be prevented via laws and edification of men
In particular, it is impossible to make progress in the absence of good families when it comes to cultural matters and certain other matters are not cultural in nature. Therefore, the family is an essential unit. It might be argued that there is progress in the west in spite of the breakup of the family.
Without women social movements won't progress: Ayatollah Khamenei
I would say if women do not take part in a social movement of a nation, that movement will not gain any results. It will not succeed. If women take part in a movement with awareness and insight, that movement will accelerate.
Iran proved Hijab promotes acquiring knowledge among women: Ayatollah Khamenei
Today, in the Islamic Republic of Iran, various fields of sciences are available for women: women who have preserved both their modesty and chastity--their womanly purity, their hijab, thoroughly; raise their children based on Islamic values; take care of their husbands the way Islam advises; while they continue with their scientific and political activities at the same time.
Today the most pious and revolutionary women of our nation are the educated ones: Ayatollah Khamenei
The existence of this group of outstanding women in different areas signifies the success of the Islamic outlook on women.
