Irans National Nuclear Day - Iran

The 20 of Farvardin, the first month of the Iranian calendar, has been declared as “National Nuclear Technology Day”. It is an occasion to celebrate the latest achievements in nuclear technology which include and scientific research in medical, industrial and agricultural applications of nuclear technology. This year the spotlight is particularly on the effects of the JCPOA on Iran’s scientific advancements including the production and export of “heavy water” while Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization also took the opportunity to unveil its recently developed “stone centrifuge”.
