The Principle of Patience and Endurance
Looking at the process of the call to Islam of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in Mecca and then in Medina, one can easily perceive that patience and endurance had a fundamental role in it. Imam Khomeini's (R.A) analysis on this is eye opening:
The Principle of Patience and Endurance
The Muslims wanted to attack the Jew, but the Noble Prophet said: No, don't lay a hand on him; I know how to deal with my friend. Then he started talking to the Jew kindly and patiently. He showed so much patience that the man reverted to Islam there and then and said: An ordinary man can't have such patience and you surely must be chosen by God and a Prophet. This patience is only the characteristic of the Prophets.

A Glance at the Holy Shrine of Hazrat Fatima Ma'soumeh (PBUH)
When Hazrat Fatima Ma'soumeh (PBUH) was buried in Qom there was a shade made of straw on the holy grave built by Musa bin Khajraj. The first dome which was in the form of a tower was built by Hazrat Zaynab (PBUH), the daughter of Imam Muhammad Taqi al-Jawad (PBUH) in the middle of third century hijrah. Stone, bricks and stucco were used as construction material for this dome.
Abu Dharr Al-Ghifari
In the Waddan valley which connects Mecca with the outside world, lived the tribe of Ghifar. The Ghifar existed on the meagre offerings of the trade caravans of the Quraysh which plied between Syria and Mecca. It is likely that they also lived by raiding these caravans when they were not given enough to satisfy their needs.

Hazrat-e Ma’soome was born in Zulqadeh 1, 173 A.H (Arabic date)in Medina. Her father was Imam Moosa Kazim (the seventh Imam) and her mother was Hazrat-e Najmeh whose purity and nobility was the reason why she was called Tahereh.
