Doubt in the Number of Rak'ahs

Āyāt Prayer

Al-Ayat prayer is among obligatory prayers and mukallaf people must perform it upon happening certain natural happenings. Al-Ayat prayer has two rak'as, each of which has 5 ruku'. Its performance is to acknowledge that these events are signs of God's power and accurate order of natural world. It prevents human being from superstitions and vain fantasies, directs his attention toward God and takes away his fear and distress and calms down his heart.

Order in Qaḍā’ Prayers In performing qaḍā’ of the missed prayers, it is not necessary to observe the order, yet one should say noon prayer before afternoon prayer of the same day. The same rule is applied to maghrib and ‘ishā’ prayers.
