Humility When Speaking
Supplication for the advent of the Present Imam (a.t.f.s.) in the qunoot of each prayer
O, my Allah, toward You and in Your direction: eyes gaze, steps advance, palms and hands are lifted, necks stretch. And you are called with tongue.
The Holy Prophet’s Prayer
may Allah have mercy on him, has narrated, through an authenticated chain of authority, that when he was asked about Ja`far al-±ayy¡r’s Prayer, Imam al-Ri¤¡ (`a) said, “Have you known about the Holy Prophet’s Prayer? Perhaps, the Holy Prophet (¥) had never offered Ja`far al-±ayy¡r’s Prayer and Ja`far al-±ayy¡r had never offered the Holy Prophet’s Prayer.” When the asker asked him to teach him that prayer, Imam al-Ri¤¡ (`a) said,

Ziarat of Imam Husain (a.s.)- Common for: 1st & 15th Rajab and 15th Sha'aban
Peace be on you, O the son of the Messenger of Allah! Peace be on you, O the son of the Last Prophet! Peace be on you, O the son of the Messenger-in-Chief ! Peace be on you, O the son of the first successor! Peace be on you, O Aba Abdillah! Peace be on you, O Husayn bin Ali!
The Role of the Imams in the Shiite Underground Activities and their Influence upon the Evolution of the Ghayba
It appears that the members of the ‘Abbasid family who became part of the revolutionary movement against the Umayyads adhered to the belief, in common with the various groups of the Shi'a, that the first lawful caliph after the Prophet was ‘Ali1, and that the caliphate must belong to the People of the House (Ahl al-Bayt).
The Role of Traditions in the Occultation of the Twelfth Imam
After the martyrdom of al-Husayn, the Imamite Imams from ‘Ali b. al-Husayn to al-Hasan al-’Askari followed a quiescent policy towards the Umayyads and the ‘Abbasids. But they expected that all their suffering would be terminated by al-Qa’im, whose rising in arms they were awaiting.
The Origin of the Issue of Khilafah
From the first days of the prophetic mission (bi`thah) the issue of leadership of the Islamic Nation after the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) was more or less in people’s minds. The story of the man who made his acceptance of Islam conditional upon becoming the leader after the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his family), which the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) did not accept, is well known.
15 SHABAAN
The Holy Prophet (sa.) had said that during the night of 15th Shaba'an the Almighty takes decisions in the matters of sustenance, life and death and welfare of the people.
What does "Islamic society" mean? Imam Khamenei explains
An Islamic society is a society which tries to achieve the goals and ideals that Islam has delineated for humanity: a society in which there is justice, freedom, a society in which people play a role in running their country and determining their destiny, a society that enjoys national dignity and welfare, a society whose members do not suffer from poverty and hunger, a society with comprehensive advances in scientific, economic and political areas, a society that makes constant progress.
