Slacklining is an exciting sport that tests your skill and ability to stay balanced on a rope. It typically uses nylon or polyester webbing tensioned between two anchor points. Amongst experts, it is argued that slacklining is different from tightrope walking in that the line is not held rigidly and is instead dynamic. The rope stretches and bounces like a long and narrow trampoline. The line is usually flat to prevent one's foot from rolling off like it would on an ordinary rope.
