Int’l Quran Contest in Iran Names Winners

The winners of the second international Quran competition for Islamic theological college understudies were reported and granted at the end ceremony on Tuesday.

As per the board of judges, Iran's Mohammad Zahedi completed first in the classification of Quran recitation and Quranic ideas concepts.

Ali Hassan Abdul Aa'la from Iraq and Mohammad Reza Nouri from Afghanistan came next and third.

In the class of retention of the whole Quran and Quranic concepts, Iran's illustrative Mahmoud Norouzi was the best winner.

The sprinter up was Ahmed Yasri Mohamed from Egypt and the third rank prize went to Mohamed Tijani from Ghana.

There was another class, specifically Quranic oration, in which Syrian contender Hassan Muhammad Walid Barakat from Syria packed away the primary prize.

Majed Washli from Yemen and Ahmad Qarabavi from Iran came next and third.

Plus, the winners of the international Quran rivalry for the outwardly disabled were declared by the board of judges.

The competition has been in progress here in the Iranian capital since Friday.

As indicated by the declaration, Mohammad Anis from India stowed the best prize in the classification of recitation.

Akram Auchar from Turkey came next and Mohammad al-Saeed Abdul Ghani al-Qamiri from Egypt came third.

Malaysian Mohamed Qaeem Nizar won the best rank in the classification of remembrance of the whole Quran.

The sprinter up was Omid Reza Rahimi from the Islamic Republic of Iran while the third rank went to Hussein Muhammad Shalal from Iraq.

The end function was gone to by various senior religious researchers and authorities, including Ayatollah Jafar Sobhani, executive of Iran's Islamic theological schools, Ayatollah Ali Reza Aarafi, and head of Iran's Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization, Hojat-ol-Islam Ali Mohammadi.

The competition for theological school understudies was a piece of the 35th International Quran Competition of the Islamic Republic of Iran that got in progress on Thursday.

The theological school understudies section of the contest was held at the Imam Kadhim (AS) Islamic Seminary in the sacred city of Qom, 150km south of Tehran.
