30 Daesh Terrorists Killed in Kirkuk, 14 Hide-Outs Destroyed

Iraqi security forces announced Saturday they have killed 30 Daesh (ISIS) terrorists and destroyed 14 hide-outs in Kirkuk.

The hide-outs were filled with explosive charges, weapons and ammunition, the sources said. 

ISIS sleeper cells still carry out sporadic attacks against police, army and civilians. 

Besides, Three ISIS terrorists have been killed in an airstrike targeting one of the terror group's hideouts in Iraq's eastern province of Diyala, officials told the Baghdad Post Saturday.

The Iraqi army carried out the strikes in cooperation with the police forces against the hideout in Himreen area, Lt. Gen. Mezhir al-Azzawi, commander of the security forces responsible for military operations in Diyala said.

In late December 2017, Iraqi PM Haider Abadi declared the fill liberation of Iraqi territories from the terror group.
