Bride of Iranian Cities

Known as the bride of Iranian cities, Lahijan lays on the northern slope of the Alborz Mountains in Gilan Province.

As a major tourist hub in northern Iran, the city enjoys a fusion of Iranian-European urban architecture as well as culture and climatic favorable condition.

Sheytan Kooh (literally meaning Evil Mountain) is a greenery hill in the east of Lahijan with a fantastic climate which attracts tourists in all four seasons.

It faces a big lake called Lahijan Lake which was used to collect water for irrigation in the past. It has currently been turned into a touristic site which provides water for an artificial waterfall in the mountain.

There are many shops and cafés as well as a restaurant near Sheytan Kooh where you can spend time and have fun.
