Panorama of Iran natural zone

Situated northeast of Iran, Golestan Province is undoubtedly one of the greenest regions in the country.

It offers a wide spectrum of flora and fauna, wide ethnic diversity and numerous historical sites.

The province is also home to international wetlands, dense forests, bubbling springs, and tens of waterfalls.

A case in point is Golestan National Park, Iran’s first natural zone registered on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

World’s tallest brick tower named ‘Gonbad-e Qabus’ tower is also located in Golestan.
