Israeli Warplanes Strike Southern Gaza Strip

Israeli occupation regime's warplanes launched a series of raids targeting the sites of the Palestinian resistance in the Gaza Strip on Saturday, while the Palestinian resistance responded by firing rockets towards the settlements.

According to Palestinian Information Center, Israeli aircraft bombed three missiles at least at  a base of the Palestinian Hamas resistance movement.

In the northern Gaza Strip Zionist warplanes bombed two sites of the resistance. There were no immediate reports of injuries or the extent of damage caused.

Israeli aircraft also shelled a number of Palestinian agricultural land in Sufa area northeast of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip.

Minutes after the Israeli bombardment, the Palestinian resistance fired a barrage of rockets towards the the occupied Palestinian territories. The enemy admitted the fall of a number of rocket shells in the occupied Sderot, the coast of Ashkelon, Sufa and Nahal Oz.

More than a dozen rockets were fired toward Israel, according to the Associated Press, with no reports of casualties on either side.

The sirens sounded dozens of times throughout the night in all Gaza Strip settlements.

It is worth mentioning that the Palestinian resistance has repeatedly stressed that the movement has a legitimate right to respond to any Israeli aggression against the people of Palestine.
