According to Rodeo agency, Votel pointed out that the main role of the base will be the training tasks implementation. "I think that building the base will have an impact on the Iraqi security forces development," he added.

Iraqi Army and the Popular Mobilization Forces recently achieved great success in clearing most of Iraq's land, from ISIS gangs, while the United States claimed that it would take, more than 30 years, to eliminate them. Iraq announced, on July 10 last year, the liberating of Mosul, which ISIS has used as its capital since 2014.
