19 handicrafts of Golestan Palace's art masterpieces have been returned to Iran from 'The Rose Empire' exhibition of Lourve Museum, Masoud Nosrati, director of the historical site announced on Wednesday.

Qajar dynasty's art exhibition called 'The Rose Empire' opened in The Louvre-Lens Museum from 28 March 2018 to 23 July 2018 which was welcomed by art lovers where 1,9000 people visited the art masterpieces of Golestan Palace.

'Golestan Palace's world heritage complex selected 19 magnificent Qajar-era handicrafts from its own treasure trove,” said the official.

Nosrati noted,'Eight oil and watercolor paintings, a collection of photographs taken by Nasereddin Shah and also a camera, a copper crown belonging to Agha Mohammad khan, 2 exquisite handwritten Qurans, and other masterpieces were selected for showcasing in the Lourve Museum.
