"According to the agreements reached between the Chinese and Russian sides, Chinese troops will go from the second half of August to mid-September to Russia to participate in the East-2018 Strategic War Games. The two sides will conduct joint exercises from 11th until 15th of September in the Tsugol field of training in the territory beyond Lake Baikal." 

The Ministry of Defense said that the exercise will include about 3,200 military personnel and more than 900 pieces of ground equipment as well as 30 helicopters and other types of air equipment. 

Russian Defense Minister General, Sergey Shweigo, announced that large-scale war games will take place between August and September in the Siberia and the Russian Far East regions and will be carried out by troops of two military zones and the North Sea Fleet.
