One of these popular parks is called Ab-o-Atash [Water and Fire] with fountains to cool down in the summer and fire towers to keep warm in the winter. A bridge connects this modern park to the older woods across from it called Taleghani. The unique design of this bridge has caught many an eye across the globe, making this a symbol of Tehran after Milad Communications Tower.

This has been called the Tabi’at Bridge, literally meaning the Nature Bridge. Its designer is a young architect by the name of Leila Araghian together with Alireza Behzadi from Diba Tensile Architecture. It has won several awards, including the Popular Choice Prize for Highways & Bridges from the Architizer A+ Awards, a global architectural competition based in New York, and the 2016 Aga Khan Award for Architecture.

This is a pedestrian bridge on three levels. Its special lighting and other unique features attract many visitors every night, seeking to spend a dreamy evening at the heart of the metropolis.

The bridge crosses over Modaress Motorway at a height of 40 meters as Iran’s first and the Middle East’s largest pedestrian bridge.

Pol-e Khajou Bridge in Isfahan served as an inspiration in the design of Tabi’at Bridge and its structure is an expression of trees and nature. The project is strictly in harmony with nature and its glory and magnificent views attracts many enthusiasts from Iran and elsewhere every year.
