US Publishes Video of Test Dropping B61 Nuclear Bomb

The US Department of Energy's Sandia National Labs published pictures showing the moment a B61 nuclear bomb was dropped from the F-15 Strike Eagle.

One recording, posted on YouTube's channel, appears as the US warplane drops a nuclear bomb while flying at a high altitude, while another recording shows the same thing, but at a height of 270 meters.

The center said that the bomb, which eventually landed with the help of an umbrella, did not carry a nuclear warhead, adding that the tests took place in Tonopah Test Range, Nevada, on July 11, 2017.
