The Astan of Hazrat Abdul Azim Hassani (AS) mausoleum will organize the Quranic event on September 6-11.
It will be held in two separate sections for men and women under the motto of “Quran, Book of Unity”, Fars reported.
The categories of the competition include Quran recitation (Tahqiq and Tarteel), memorization of the Quran at different levels, and Tafseer (Quran interpretation).

Iran has hosted Afghan refugees since the late 1970s following the occupation of their country by the Soviet Union troops. Although many of those refugees have returned to their country voluntarily, there are still hundreds of thousands of Afghans in Iran.
