Imam Ali[a] (Arabic: علي‎, translit. ʿAlī, pronounced [ʕaliː]; 15 September 601 – 29 January 661) was the cousin and the son-in-law of Prophet Muhammad, the last prophet of Islam. Imam Ali is the only person to be born in the sacred sanctuary of the Kaaba (Arabic: كَـعـبَـة‎) in Mecca, the holiest place in Islam.

ثَوابُ العَمَلِ عَلَی قَدْرِ المَشَقَّةِ فیهِ.

The reward for any work is proportionate to the toil of performing it.
