He was one of the students of prominent and well-known scholars such as Seyyed Mohsen Hakim, Seyyed Mahmoud Shahroudi, Seyyed Abolqasem Khoyi, Mirza Hashem Amoli, Seyyed Mohammad Taghi Khansari, Seyyed Hossein Tabatabaei Boroujerdi, and Mohammad Ali Araky.

Ayatollah Beheshti has had nearly half a century of teaching experience in Islamic Studies at The Sadr Madrasa in Isfahan.

For many years, studying, teaching and imamate of congregation and service in Najaf, Qom, and Isfahan, gave him a devoted and virtuous reputation.

The body of the deceased Ayatollah Beheshti was buried an hour ago on the hands of the faithful servants of Islam and Ahlul-Bayt (AS) and the clerics from Seminary of The Sadr Madrasa to the Shrine of Allameh Majlisi.
