The new poll included 1003 adults between 26 and 29 August, with 49% of respondents saying that Congress should launch a process to impeach Trump, while 46% said they would oppose it.

63% of respondents said they support Muller's investigation and 29 percent oppose it. According to the same poll, the figures are better for Trump in relation to the economy, with 45% supporting his administration of the economy (45% do not).

The popularity of the Republican president varies widely according to political trends: 78% of Republicans agree with his performance, while 93% oppose Democrats and 59% independents.
