In a meeting with Culture Minister of Bashkortostan Shafiq Awa, he expressed pleasure with development of cultural ties between the two sides and voiced readiness for cooperation with the region in various cultural fields.

Referring to Iran’s high status in cinema and publications, Ebrahimi voiced readiness for mutual undertakings in these fields.

Shafiq Awa, for her part, hailed Iran’s progress and capabilities in various sectors, particularly in the fields of culture and art, saying that cooperation with Iran in different arenas will soon start upon the order of Bashkortostan president.

She hailed successful holding of Iran’s cultural week in Russia and Bashkortostan, saying that the region is ready to have cooperation with Iran in various domains.

Iran’s cultural week in Russia is to kick off on Monday. Moscow and Ufa area host the cultural event.
