Head of the Iran-Belarus parliamentary group Ramezan Ali Sobhani Far said despite good relations between two sides, more measures should be taken in that regard.
He also pointed to the MoU, which is supposed to be signed by both sides, saying it will be a roadmap for both countries in the future.
Meanwhile, Belarusian Head of the Iran-Belarus parliamentary friendship group pointed to developing international cooperation between the two countries, saying negotiations were held by the two sides in 2017.
Iran-Belarus parliamentary friendship group is ready for maintaining more cooperation with Iran, the Belarus party said.
In the same line,Iranian Majlis (Parliament) speaker Ali Larijani called for increasing trade exchanges between Iran and Belarus.
Larijani made the remarks in a meeting with Alexander Lukashenko, President of Belarus on Friday.
He expressed Iran’s readiness for boosting exports and imports between the two countries, describing it as an important measure.
Alexander, for his part, offered readiness for developing trade, industrial and agricultural relations and also increasing exports and imports between the two countries.
Selling meat, wheat, wood, paper, truck, tractor, mineral cars by Belarus and purchasing oil, petrochemical products, drugs, fruit and vegetables from Iran were among other topics discussed by both sides.
