Abbas was quoted as saying at the start of a meeting of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) in his office in Ramallah on Saturday: "There is the issue of Al-Aqsa Mosque, there is much evidence of this, that there are prayers allowed to Jews in the Aqsa Mosque as Muslims and that means that they seek to repeat the experience of the Ibrahimi Mosque."
"As far as the Al-Aqsa Mosque is concerned, we are holding consultations with our brothers in Jordan to be a united position to go to the International Criminal Court and the International Court of Justice," Abbas said.
Jordan, in an agreement with the Palestinian Authority, is the custodian of the holy sites in Jerusalem and pays the salaries of its workers from the dams and guards.
The entity of the enemy has been opened since its occupation of the holy city in 1967 for the Jews and provocation of the Muslims to desecrate the Aqsa Mosque under the pretext of what they call tourism programs to the mosque.
