Muslims in the UK called the police to safeguard Muharram mourning rituals.

A car plowed into pedestrians after Muharram mourning ceremony in Cricklewood, London and injured five people, three of whom in serious health conditions.

The three people on board started insulting Muslims.

Meanwhile, a number of security forces block the car in order not to hit other mourners.

This is while London police in statement announced that the accident is not a terrorist move and has not arrested anybody related to the accident.

According to London police it was a street accident and they started investigations.

Muḥarram is the first month of the Islamic calendar. It is one of the four sacred months of the year. The tenth day of Muharram is known as the Day of Ashura, part of the Mourning of Muharram for Shia Muslims and a day of fasting for Sunni Muslims. Shia Muslims mourn the death of Imam Hussein (A.S) and his family, respecting the sacrifice of the martyrs by praying in abundance and refraining from all joyous events.
