The ceremony was attended by members of the Supreme Political Council, the Minister of Defense, Minister of Youth and Sports, the Secretary of the capital and a number of the government officials. The Minister of Youth and Sports pointed out that the Yemeni People celebrate this occasion during the most difficult stage because of the US-Saudi aggression.

"We affirm that our strength will not be defeated and that our revolution against arrogance, injustice, aggression, occupation and its projects is continuing and our resolve has not diminished, but is increasing in the amount of sacrifices offered by the Yemeni People."

The Minister of Youth pointed out that the revolution of the September 21 formed an important transformation in the life of the Yemenis and a natural product of what was happening in the national arena of social, political and economic motives and accumulations of suffering for decades.
