The parade of the Iranian Army, IRGC navy forces and the Police will begin at 8:00 o’clock local time on Saturday to commemorate the beginning anniversary of the Sacred Defense (1980-88 Iraqi-imposed war on Iran).

Iran is to show its power and military capability in the Persian Gulf and the high seas, the official said.

He said that holding this parade in the Persian Gulf coasts and near Hormuz Strait will indicate that the Iranian armed forces are ready to carry out any operation to safeguard the Iranian national interests and counter any kind of threat in this strategic region.
