“The case will be followed up diplomatically through the British government and legally through the Office of Communications, commonly known as the Ofcom,” the Iranian Envoy told the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA).

Speaking in an exclusive interview with IRNA, Baeidijejad added the legal and political measures “will not be finalized at once. It needs to be continuously followed up and this continuity, documentation, and inclusive efforts will not be in vain.”

At least 25 people were killed and more than 60 others injured during Saturday morning terror attack in Ahvaz which took place during a military parade held to mark the 38th anniversary of an eight-year imposed war against Iran.

The self-proclaimed Saudi-affiliated Al-Ahwaz terrorist group claimed the responsibility for the attack.

A few minutes after the incident, an interview with the spokesman of the terrorist group was broadcast by Iran's International TV channel, which is reportedly financed by Saudi Arabia.

The TV channel later claimed in a Twitter message that their goal was to act based on their professional responsibility and get the official response from the group, and the TV host challenged the spokesman for this action.

“Iran International has shamefully broadcast an interview with the spokesperson of the terrorist group that is behind today's terrorist attack in Ahwaz. We condemn this heinous act and call Ofcom to seriously react to this as an act in support of terrorism and violence,' Baeidinejad Tweeted.

He added that Iran is a fundamental advocate of professional media; media is part of today's political and social life, and plays an important role in exchanging political developments both nationally and globally.
However, the ambassador stressed, “Media should in turn respect professional ethics.”

Broadcasting an interview with spokesman of the terrorist group was against the principles of professional media, and is regarded as contrary to the explicit rules of international law, Baeidinejad said urging that such media should be confronted.

He called for fighting terrorism in any format.

Classifying terrorism into good and bad has caused disasters and it should be slammed, Baeidinejad said criticizing the existing double standard policies in dealing with the problem of terrorism.
