Iran, Iraq Cooperating on Arbaeen

Iran's Interior Minister said that there is good cooperation between Iran and Iraq and officials of both countries have made numerous trips and signed a memorandum meets the requirements we are running and realizing.

Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli Wednesday evening, on the sidelines of the Eleventh Summit of the Arbaeen Central Headquarters in the Ministry of Interior, said, 'We need to strengthen the unity of the Islamic world in Arbaeen rituals.'

'This year, is the fourth year that headquarters of Arbaeen have been formed, which started its work from the day after the rituals of last year, taking into account the experiences of past years and the shortcomings and weakness of the rituals were also identified and reviewed,' he added.

The interior minister continued, 'This year we are well-prepared in the field of transportation and traffic, security and law, health and services, as well as in the visa issuance for the ceremony.'

Rahmani Fazli stated, 'There is good cooperation between Iran and Iraq, the officials of both countries have made several trips and a memorandum of understanding has been signed, all of which are in accordance with our conditions, are being implemented and, in some cases, based on coordination between the two countries.'
