Speaking on Al-Kawthar program “One Nation”, Jazairi said the promotion of virtue and the prevention of vice is one of the reasons behind Imam Hussein’s (PBUH) uprising according to Imam Hussein (PBUH) himself.

The cleric stressed that the promotion of virtue and the prevention of vice is a sacred duty.

The philosophy of the promotion of virtue and the prevention of vice is to correct the situation and straighten deviated things, Jazairi added.

He said that there are political, cultural and religious satellite TV channels that do not move in this direction, adding there is so much evidence on that.

“Where is the promotion of virtue and the prevention of vice?” Jazairi wondered.

The cleric said that there is no politician or scholar speaks in the peoples’ favor, except “the resistance group” which speaks without fear “because they are freemen and have dignity”.

He said no Arab president can criticize US President Donald Trump, but "the resistance group" is an outspoken critic of him because they have dignity as they follow the principle that either to live in dignity or die as a martyr, stressing whoever follow this principle say the truth and promote virtue and prevent vice.
