E-visa Issued in Isfahan Without Labels

The head of Iran’s representative office for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Isfahan Province stated: "We are aiming to issue e-visas for tourists from the end of October without labels in passports.

Alireza Salarian added: "The US administration intends to impose restrictions on the travel of foreign tourists to Iran in line with its anti-Iranian policies. Issuing an e-visa is a good strategy to deal with such policies."

He said that 290 thousand foreign tourists arrived in Isfahan in the first half of this year, saying that this figure represented a 5 percent decrease as compared to a similar period last year. However, setting up a visa center in Isfahan’s Shahid Beheshti International Airport from the end of October could attract more tourists to the city.
