Fortnite Skull Trooper was last available way back during Fortnite season 1 - so is something only veteran Battle Royale players could have unlocked.

But leaks from Fortnite dataminers have revealed that the Fortnite Skull Trooper will be making a big splash in Fortnite season 6.

While Fortnite server downtime was taking place in-game files were updated to feature a new card.

This is the ‘Skull Squad’ gear which will be available in the item shop.

And the description for it reveals that there will be specific challenges that help players unlock extra gear.

The description reads: "Skull Squad Gear available now! Complete challenges to earn the Ghost Portal Back Bling”.

It looks like Fortnite fans will be able to purchase the Skull Trooper and Skull Ranger as well as their respective pickaxe and glider.

While the previously leaked Ghost Portal back bling will be unlockable through the Fortnite Skull Trooper challenges.
