Speaking on Al-Kawthar program “One Nation”, the cleric emphasized that thoughts must be countered by thoughts.

Thus, the Islamic scholars and intellectuals as well as the universities, including Al-Azhar University in Egypt and Al-Mustafa International University in Iran, and the Muslim World League should perform their duty towards the Muslim nation and raise the awareness about Islam as there are more than 100 Wahhabi TV channels that spread hatred and violence, he added.

Referring to that “flood of Wahhabi TV channels” on Nilesat and Arabsat satellites, the cleric said scholars, institutions and universities need to increase efforts and play their part and perform their mission towards the young people.

He stressed that the scholars play an important role in enlightening the young people, noting that there are many misled youths who do not know the truth about Islam.
