Considering that in the materialistic world the human being is faced with existing beauties in nature and animal nature in him/her enjoys them, thinks that his accomplishment in worldly affairs is to attain material.
Meaning, the forces of desire and anger make material affairs to look attractive to him/her and that is when he/she makes mistake and cannot recognize which thing brings him accomplishment. As mentioned in Ayah 14 of Surah Aal-e-Imran: Fair in the eyes of men is the love of things they covet: Women and sons, heaped up hoards of gold and silver, horses branded (for blood and excellence), and (wealth of) cattle and well-tilled land. Such are possessions of this world, but returning to Allah is the best of the goals [1].
